There is a good chance you will have to update your mod to make it work again. ModTheSpire is now stricter about some errors and some of the API has changed. It introduces breaking API changes and stricter error handling, so most mods will need to be updated before they will work again. You can learn more about Slay the Spire, as well as check out the Steam Workshop update, by visiting Steam. This is a major update to both ModTheSpire and BaseMod. The name of the mod derives from this focus on small, simple change: Like quarks, each individual feature is small, but they build into a larger whole. A lot of your cards have multiple effects depending on your stats, so there's a lot of decisions you have to make each turn, especially in the early game, and that's the sort of stuff I love in my card games! It's obviously a little bit imbalanced as it's not only a mod but also still in development, but it's a pretty fun experience regardless. Quark is a mod for Minecraft Java Edition, aiming to enhance the base game, using a very simple motto: Anything added to Quark could also be added to the default game without compromising its gameplay style. Personally, I've been messing around with The Construct character mod for a little while now, and I have to say that I'm a big fan of the playstyle. Adding or removing mods is both extremely simple, so don't be afraid to experiment until you find a combination you like. So if you're up for playing around with new characters, cards or even mechanics, simply install a couple of mods and see how it goes for you.

In order to pave the way for the full release, as well as add even more longevity to Slay the Spire, the developers have now made it significantly easier to access mods.Īs you might imagine, this means that Slay the Spire now fully supports Steam Workshop.
